Dimraeth Progression Guide: Character vs World Progress
Separate portable character progression from world-bound story, allies and buildings, with the announced Early Access level cap.
Dimraeth has two progression tracks. Character progression travels between worlds; world progression remains with the save where it happened. The September Early Access announcement names a character level cap of 25.
Character progression
These parts travel when the hero joins another world:
- level and personal progression;
- equipped and carried gear;
- inventory;
- learned spells.
Use guest sessions to grow the hero, test a build, gather portable rewards, and play a role in another party. Before equipping a new spell, check its attribute requirement against the archetype's scaling.
World progression
These parts remain tied to the world:
- story completion;
- recruited allies and their relationship state;
- buildings, farms, quarries, and facilities;
- the stronghold's development.
Choose the right save for the next action
| Goal | Best location |
|---|---|
| continue one shared campaign | the regular host world |
| improve a hero's level or loadout | any accessible world |
| expand a particular stronghold | that stronghold's world |
| recruit allies for your own story | your own or designated host world |
For a consistent group, choose one host for world actions and let each player retain a personal hero. If someone starts a separate world, treat its story and base as a separate progression branch even when the same character visits.
