Dimraeth Co-op Guide: Player Count and Shared Progress
Dimraeth supports 1-8 players. Learn exactly what travels with your hero and what remains in the host world.
Dimraeth supports solo play and seamless drop-in/drop-out online co-op for one to eight players. Your hero's level, equipment, inventory, spells, and personal progression travel between worlds. Story progress, recruited allies, and buildings remain tied to each world.
What moves and what stays
| Travels with your hero | Stays with the world |
|---|---|
| character level | story progress |
| equipment | recruited allies |
| inventory | buildings and stronghold layout |
| spells | world-specific development |
| personal progression | — |
Set up a regular group
- Choose one regular host if the party wants a shared story and stronghold.
- Let guests bring the characters whose gear and spell loadouts fit the group.
- Invest world resources with the understanding that facilities remain in that host's world.
- Before switching hosts, decide whether the goal is character growth or advancing a different world's story.
- Equip complementary roles rather than asking every player to cover the same damage pattern.
The split makes guest sessions useful: a visitor keeps personal level, gear, inventory, and spells. It also means recruiting an ally or constructing a building in one world does not advance every player's separate world.
Steam lists online co-op, Steam Cloud, achievements, and Family Sharing. The public page does not specify every session permission, difficulty-scaling rule, or host-migration behavior, so use the live lobby interface for those controls.
