Dimraeth Classes and Races: 48 Archetypes
Dimraeth classes and races guide: see the advertised roster, confirmed names and how 48 race-class archetypes shape a build.
Steam advertises six classes and eight races. Any race-and-class pairing forms one of 48 archetypes. Official material currently names Brawler, Magician, and Shadow; the complete six-class Early Access list is not publicly consolidated, so treat these as confirmed names rather than a finished roster.
Quick class choice
| Class | Role | Playstyle | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brawler | frontline pressure | close-range combat shaped by the chosen race pairing | players who want to test a direct melee archetype first |
| Magician | spell-focused planning | magic-leaning combat that still depends on attributes and spellbooks | players who want to build around spell access and resource choices |
| Shadow | evasive pressure | a newly announced class whose release skill tree still needs in-game verification | players who want a lighter, trickier role and are ready to inspect the EA tree |
| Remaining three | verify in Early Access | names and roles are not consolidated in public sources | players comparing the live character creator before committing |
Dimraeth classes and races create 48 archetypes
Class does not sit alone above a generic race bonus. Every race-and-class combination becomes a distinct archetype with its own skill tree and playstyle. Use this sequence:
- Decide which combat job the character must handle.
- Pair a class with each available race and inspect how the skill tree changes.
- Compare attribute scaling with the requirements of universal spells you want.
- Equip a five-spell bar that covers offense, defense, control, reach, and one flexible need.
Publicly named classes
| Class | Public status | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|
| Brawler | named on the official site | exact EA skills and numbers are not listed publicly |
| Magician | named on the official site | “magic class” does not replace universal spellbook requirements |
| Shadow | named in the September EA announcement | exact release skill tree is not publicly documented |
| Remaining three | names not consolidated publicly | older candidate lists may not equal the launch roster |
Race/class skills are one source of actions. Crafted universal spellbooks can add magic if you meet their attribute requirements, while boss-derived spellbooks provide another route. That means class choice establishes the core, but does not describe the whole build.
What to check before choosing
- Race identity: confirm the current race description and attribute direction in the character creator.
- Class role: decide whether the pairing should pressure, protect, control, support, or attack from range.
- Archetype tree: inspect the first reachable skills and passive before committing points.
- Spell plan: keep attribute requirements for universal spells compatible with the pairing.
The full six-class and eight-race Early Access roster should be treated as a live in-game reference until every name and skill tree is verified. This page intentionally does not turn older Demo candidates into confirmed launch data. Mudtek's September update specifically confirms the new Elf race and Shadow class, but it does not publish every remaining name or pairing detail.
