Dimraeth Combat Guide: Stamina, Telegraphs and Defense
Learn the confirmed Dimraeth combat foundation: manage stamina, read attacks, position first, then strike, dodge, block or parry.
Dimraeth describes its combat as deliberate and stamina-based. The core decision is simple: read the enemy and position first; spend stamina second. Every attack is a commitment, so leaving room to dodge, block, or parry matters more than extending one extra sequence.
Use this combat cycle
- Enter at a distance where you can see the enemy's full telegraph.
- Let the first attack reveal its reach and recovery.
- Position outside the hit path instead of relying on a last-frame defense.
- Strike during the recovery window, then stop while stamina remains.
- Equip a defensive or space-making spell if your archetype lacks a safe exit.
- Reset the cycle when a boss changes phase or attack pattern.
Choose the defensive response
| Response | Use it when… | Main risk |
|---|---|---|
| reposition | the telegraph leaves a clear safe area | losing pressure |
| dodge | movement is needed to cross the attack path | emptying stamina |
| block | the setup can absorb the hit | being broken by repeated pressure |
| parry | the timing and attack allow it | taking the full hit on a miss |
Your five spell slots should cover the fight's requirements, not repeat the same attack. Equip a stable damage action, an escape or defense, control, a range or area answer, and one flexible tool. Exact timing windows and boss mechanics depend on the current build; learn them from the animation in front of you.
